Nowe Czarnowo is a street-type village, formerly a holiday and sanatorium settlement. Her face changed after the construction of a large power plant called "Dolna Odra". The plant's warm discharge waters are used for fish farming. Within the village there is Krzywy Las - a batch of pine trees with arched trees near Dolna Odra Power Plant.
