Address: ul. Morska 1 , 78-100 Kołobrzeg
The Lighthouse in Kołobrzeg has been operating since 1666. The first light signals were made periodically, only while waiting for the arrival of ships. The permanent light of the Kołobrzeg lighthouse was only lit 200 years later, served by a mast with a boom mounted at the pilot station. In 1899, the light of the lantern was increased, thus improving its visibility. The lighthouse was destroyed during the war in 1945. Soon after, it was rebuilt. Its tower was built using the structure of the former fort standing at the entrance to the port in Kołobrzeg. Currently, the lighthouse tower rises to a height of 26 m above the area and its range reaches 16 NM.
