The amphitheater is located among trees in the Kasprowicz Park in Szczecin, on a natural embankment next to Lake Rusałka. It is a place of concerts, celebrations, parties and other local events, as well as a popular destination for walks. The Summer Theater in Szczecin is one of the largest amphitheaters in Poland. It has 4.5 thousand seating, and also boasts the largest stage in Szczecin with an area of ​​670 m². In 2000, a general renovation of the stage was carried out and the roofing project was completed. In subsequent years, new seats appeared in the audience, the stage and facilities for artists as well as the roof structure over the stage and the audience were modernized. Illumination of the Theater won the main prize in the 12th edition of the competition for the Best Illuminated Municipality and City 2009.
