Address: Plac Orła Białego , Szczecin

The fountain is located on the White Eagle Square in Szczecin. Is the oldest preserved baroque fountain in Poland. Designed by Berlin architect Johann Fryderyk Grael. The eagle, however, was carved by Johann Konrad Koch and the stonemason Angerer in the years 1729-1732. It has been operating continuously since August 15, 1732. It was once the first fragment of the Szczecin waterworks. Originally, the fountain was located at Koński Kierat Street, in 1866 it was moved to its present place. It survived World War II without any damage, because it was covered with gravel and sand in the form of a mound. The fountain was renovated twice, the first in 1990-1992 and again in 2005-06. The construction of the historic fountain is made of sandstone. It consists of a bowl in the shape of a four-leaf clover in the lower part in the middle of which is a quadrilateral shaft. On the sides there are semicircular niches with mascarons. Stem corners are reinforced with pedestals and smaller bowls. The top of the fountain is decorated with a bowl with a pile of stones, on which is placed an eagle sculpture with outstretched wings.
